Paired Markup
Paired markup is used in:
Legal step content
Within structured text blocks
Paired markup is used to automatically generate a second copy of any HTML block to strip out formatting and to create footnotes for any inserted urls, which makes it easier to deliver the information on platforms other than websites.
To use:
Add the body (with Markup)
Do not complete the body (Plain Text)
The plain text will automatically be created and visible when editing the content. It can not be directly edited.
Note
If you use the url lookup to link to legal content, it will automatically add the domain prefix (https://www.illinoislegalaid.org on production, for example) when creating the plain text.
